The Industrial Internet of Things is a multi-level system that includes sensors and controllers installed on the nodes and assemblies of an industrial facility, means for transmitting the collected data and their visualization, powerful analytical tools for interpreting the information received, and many other components.
Industrial (often Industrial) Internet of Things - the Internet of Things for corporate / industry use - a system of interconnected computer networks and connected industrial (production) facilities with built-in sensors and software for collecting and exchanging data, with the possibility of remote control and management in an automated mode, without participation person.
In industrial use, the term "Industrial Internet" is used. Further in the text, to simplify perception, instead of writing "industrial Internet of things", the term "Internet of things" is used in this context.
