Registration and activation are required each time you
install QuickBooks Desktop on your system. If you have multiple copies of QB
Desktop, you must register or activate QuickBooks Desktop. You will be
asked to activate QuickBooks. You can also activate it manually. When you
activate QuickBooks Desktop, a window that says "Set up your Intuit
account" will appear on your screen. You can link your existing account
information by logging into your Intuit account when you activate QuickBooks
Desktop.
To register for QuickBooks Desktop 2016 or later
versions, follow these steps:

Start the QuickBooks software and press F2 on
your keyboard.

Check the registration status in the Product
Information window to the right of your license number.

If the status is Active, you don't need to do
anything. If not checked, follow these steps:

You must select OK to close the product
information window.
Ø
Access the Help menu and select Activate
QuickBooks.
Ø
However, for the 2015 version, select
"Register QuickBooks.
Ø
Follow the onscreen instructions and review
the information.
Ø
This completes the activation process.

Once the activation process is complete, you
will receive a thank you message.
On the QuickBooks activation screen, you can choose to
activate with an existing Intuit account or create a new account. If you do not
have an Intuit account, you will need to create a user ID and enter the
required information to complete the activation process.

Visit https: //www.quickbooks.com/account.
·
Click on the "Forgot User ID or
Password" link.
·
Enter your registered email address, phone
number or User ID.
·
Also, provide the code you received.
·
Once complete, you will see your User ID and
can reset your password.
·
To finish, log in again.
