Give the gift of cannabis with these 9 high-tech smoking devices
Cannabis is quickly going to the nerds. As it gradually becomes legal around the world, startups have responded with innovative products from laser-powered water bongs to CNC machined vapes to AI-powered herb grinders. Got a friend who wants to get a bit fancy with it? Give’m the gift of high-tech consumption. To get more news about rick and morty bong, you can visit sharebongs.com official website.
Throughout 2021, cannabis companies made major strides on the back of unprecedented consumer demand. Companies like Dutchie and Jane Technologies raised hundreds of millions in new venture financing, leading to industry investments climbing 82% in the second half of 2021. Others companies like Leafly and Agrify turned to public markets to raise new capital. Amazon stopped screening employees for marijuana, and Apple started treating cannabis as it does with pharmaceuticals and started letting users order and pay for cannabis in apps (in places where that’s legal).
There’s high hopes for cannabis in 2022. Cannabis is now legal for use in 36 states, and there’s traction in Washington that could end its federal prohibition.
The Puffco Budsy is a fantastic discrete water bong, and it’s nearly invisible thanks to the Nalgene-style bottle. Just throw some water in the bottle, pack flower in the hidden bowl and hit the trails. When you’re ready, flip up the lid, hit the bud with a lighter and inhale from the spout (which is thankfully not connected to the water). Rinse and repeat. Puffco released the Budsy on April 1, 2021 but it wasn’t a joke. This product is real, and it’s a lot of fun.
Roger Volodarsky founded the company in 2013 and has since led the company as CEO. Over the last several years, the company has kept pushing forward into innovative dabbing products. The Puffco Peak Pro (below) even features interchangeable ovens to allow owners to tailor their smoking experience without buying a new rig.
Dynavaps are my go-to smoking device. They’re pocketable, batteryless and produce a great cloud of vapor. Think of it as a one-hitter vape with a thermometer. First, heat the tip with a torch or induction heater. In about 3-5 seconds, the cap will click, notifying the user that the herb is at the right temperature and ready to hit. The cannabis lasts about 3-4 cycles. Best yet, since the cap protects the ground flower from the flame, there’s no combustion or smoke — just vapor — and there’s very little smell.
Dynavap vaporizers are CNC machined in the company’s De Forest, Wisconsin facility. George Breiwa started the company in 2015 and currently employs around 40 people. Dynvap sells several versions of the little metal vape, including this stately “gentleman’s pipe” and the sleek, all-black Obsidium Omni for $250.
The GPen Dash is the GoPro of vapes. This tiny vaporizer is impressive: It costs $70 and hits above its weight. The little vape has a glass-coated stainless steel heating chamber and a clean air path. The hits are smooth and plentiful. The GPen Dash is a great grab-and-go vape. Pictured here is one of the special versions; the company teamed with the nonprofit breast cancer prevention foundation Keep A Breast and made this limited edition.
Co-founder and CEO Chris Folkerts started Grenco Science with Anthony Barron in 2011. The company sells a wide range of vaporizers, including a portable dab rig and a battery-powered concentrate vaporizer for glass stems. In May 2020 Grenco Science acquired Stündenglass, a company founded by an ex-Apple employee that makes high-end gravity bongs.
What’s the Hoopla Presents Hits from the Bong
If you watched the Oscars, or even if you didn’t, you might ask, “Who the heck is Bong Joon-ho?” Bong, after all, went home with four trophies for his film Parasite, including Best Picture. You might then be curious what else this South Korean filmmaker has done. Turns out all the features he’s directed are available to stream right now. And a few are even on Hoopla, the streaming service to which your Millicent Library card allows you access. Most of these are also available at the library (or through interlibrary loan) on DVD and/or Blu-ray. To get more news about mushroom bong, you can visit sharebongs.com official website.
Barking Dogs Never Bite (2000). Bong’s feature debut is a dark comedy about people living in an apartment complex. So if that isn’t your thing, you’ll want to skip it. It is, however, viewable for free on a couple of platforms, including Hoopla, and also (with ads) Tubi TV.
Memories of Murder (2003). Bong’s true-life drama about Korea’s first serial-killer case has often been likened to David Fincher’s Zodiac. It marked Bong’s first collaboration with actor Song Kang-ho, who went on to appear in a few more Bong films, including Parasite. Until very recently, As of press time, though, it’s gone. I suspect it’s because it was just announced that it (and Parasite) are getting swanky new DVD/Blu-ray editions from Criterion. You can still check the old DVD out from the library.
The Host (2006). Bong’s best-known movie until Parasite, this fun, atmospheric giant-monster movie was a massive hit, even earning a couple million bucks in the States. It’s available free (with ads) on Tubi TV and Pluto TV; it’s also free without ads on Hoopla. It was the first Bong film I saw, and made me a fan for life.
Mother (2009). Clearly not interested in being buttonholed, Bong followed his monster mash with an acclaimed drama about a woman who struggles to keep her intellectually disabled son out of prison for a murder he’s been arrested for but may not have committed. Unless you subscribe to the Roku Channel, you can’t stream this one for free, I say it’s worth it, and hey, that’s about what you used to shell out at Blockbuster, right?
Snowpiercer (2013). Yeah, this is the stuff. My favorite Bong until Parasite dropped, this dystopian action-fantasy was only shown in fewer than 200 theaters due to its distributor, Harvey Weinstein. The accused serial rapist wanted the film 20 minutes shorter, Bong refused, and Weinstein retaliated. (Amazingly, it played around here — at the Mall, even! That’s how I saw it on the big screen.) If you have Netflix, it’s available there; if not, it’s rentable for $2.99 and up, from the usual suspects (Amazon, Vudu, YouTube).
Okja (2017). Okja is a genetically modified “superpig” at the center of this not-for-kids fable that boasts a mix of Korean and English-speaking actors (Tilda Swinton, Jake Gyllenhaal, etc.). Since Bong reportedly puts the pig through much trauma to make his point about the anguish our food endures, I haven’t yet had the stomach for it. Maybe some day. Right now it’s exclusively on Netflix — a bummer if you don’t subscribe, and no physical-media release seems forthcoming.
5 Reasons To Smoke With Glass Bongs
There’s no shortage of ways to smoke – cigarettes, pipes, vaporisers and glass bongs. Each different type of smoking method has its own pros and cons.To get more news about cheap beaker bongs under $50, you can visit sharebongs.com official website.
People who are looking for their first smoking device or maybe just something a little different will want to know about the advantages of alternative methods. Keep in mind that everyone has their own tastes and what might be an advantage for one person could easily be a disadvantage for another.
With that said, one of the best ways to smoke anything is undoubtedly with a glass bong. But why is this method so superior when compared to others?
1. They can be re-used
While it’s true that this type of smoking paraphernalia is going to have an upfront cost, you will easily make this money back in what you save since (if you treat it carefully) it will last you a lifetime. With a glass bong you won’t have to continually re-stock on rolling paper – all you need to do is clean the one device every so often.
2. They help filter the smoke with water
The most obvious and significant benefit of smoking with glass bongs is the actual means by which the combustion process takes place. The water filtration that happens with this device means that your smoke is both cooled down – preventing your throat from being irritated by the heat – as well filtered from many harmful chemicals and ash that would otherwise end up in your mouth.
3. More intense smoking experience
Another big advantage of glass bongs is that they give you an immense hit of what you’re smoking when compared with other methods. This is because you are smoking all of the mix at once rather than slowly puffing on it over time.
For new smokers, this kind of big hit can feel a little overwhelming, so it may be prudent to start with smaller amount and work your way up. They give you a lot of freedom and flexibility about how you smoke with them.
4. Can be cleaned very easily
While they can be made out of lots of different materials, they are superior because they are the easiest to clean. Just like cleaning your dishes, cleaning this device is very easy and can be done with some hot water and detergent.
Alcohol is also a great way to clean the device as the material stops any residuals collecting on the surface. This makes them safer to smoke out of than other alternatives.
5. They can be very aesthetically pleasing
A great thing about glass bongs is that they are also a canvas for fantastic works of art. They are also all entirely hand made as there is no existing machine that makes them entirely from scratch.
There are an endless amount of different designs, styles and aesthetics being explored with this type of smoking device. Some people even just collect them as artworks and don’t smoke out of them at all.
This adorable ‘micro’ folding electric bike weighs just 24 pounds
Last year, Americans bought around half a million electric bikes—more than twice the number of electric cars that were sold over the same period, and more than twice the number of e-bikes that were sold in 2019. This year, when sales are tallied up, they likely will have doubled again. To get more news about ebike, you can visit davincimotor.com official website.
Still, most e-bikes have a few challenges for someone trying to replace a car on a daily commute. They can be heavy and hard to store. One startup wants to convince more commuters to switch to e-bikes by focusing on size: The Jackrabbit eBike, which calls itself a “micro bike,” is small enough when folded up to fit behind the front seat of a car, and light enough, at 24 pounds, to carry up a flight of stairs or lift into an overhead storage compartment on a train.
“Full size bikes require a decent amount of storage,” says Jackrabbit CEO Jason Kenagy. “They’re not easy to bring on to subways or buses.” In places where high bike-theft rates mean that you need to bring your bike inside the office, size and weight can make that difficult. Other folding bikes exist but tend to use heavier materials like steel because the fold points require extra strength. The Jackrabbit designers found a way to simplify the structure so that it can be folded flat and can be made from lightweight aluminum.
In “flat mode,” the bike is only 7 inches wide; and for storage, it’s possible to shrink the folded bike further by taking the handlebars off and clipping them onto the front forks of the bike. The front wheel also rotates to save more inches, and the seat can be lowered.
While most electric bikes can be pedaled, with the electric motor offering “pedal assist,” the micro bike uses pegs instead of pedals, and the rider doesn’t do any work—which could be a drawback for those wanting to get in some exercise. In New York, the design means that it might be classified as a seated scooter, with a permitted top speed of 15 mph rather than the 20 that e-bikes are allowed. (The company is now working on optional removable pedals to address this.) By removing the pedals, though, the designers made the bike lighter, easier to fold, and cleaner because it also doesn’t need a chain.
The Jackrabbit has a smaller battery than some other e-bikes, though it’s the largest the FAA will allow to be taken on an airplane. The battery is also big enough to meet the everyday needs of most riders, providing a range of around 12 miles before the battery needs to be charged. “We focused a lot on research, and how far people really drive in their cars,” says Kenagy. “In the U.S., more than 50% of the car rides are less than 5 miles; more than 70% are less than 10 miles.”
Riding The Harley-Davidson LiveWire Electric Motorcycle
Harley-Davidson may be the most traditional of motorcycle makers. But it's now taken a huge leap into a greener future with its LiveWire electric motorcycle concept. To get more news about davincitech, you can visit davincimotor.com official website.
Recently, our writer Ben Rich rode it--and reported on what it's like. This is Green Car Reports' video news for the week of July 28, 2014.At the event he attended in New Jersey, he says the radical electric bike got a mostly positive reception.
Younger riders took to it more quickly, but older riders had to adjust to the lack of noise--and the absence of a clutch and a gearbox.Still, it's a Harley. Ben noted that the company deliberately made the LiveWire louder than other electric motorcycles he's ridden--including his very own 2012 Zero S bike.
The LiveWire's 55-kilowatt electric motor--that's 74 horsepower--produces 52 lb-ft of torque.
By electric-car standards, that doesn't sound like much, but it's enough to rocket the electric bike to 60 miles per hour in about 4 seconds.
It felt faster than the Brammo Empulse R or the Zero S, Ben said, though he didn't feel it was faster than the Zero RS--which is closer to a superbike. Our video shows the bike's electronic display panel, and Ben sent us his helmet-cam footage, so you can experience the LiveWire with him first-hand.
Still, Harley said it doesn't intend to produce the LiveWire. It's a concept, not a prototype. And the fact that Harley-Davidson of all companies has built 40 electric LiveWires to test rider reaction across the country indicates just how much of an impact electric motorcycles have had in a few short years.
Harley-Davidson to launch more affordable e-bikes based on ‘Arrow’ platform
Harley-Davidson is planning more electric bikes under its premium EV brand LiveWire. If international media reports are to be trusted, the company will introduce ‘S2 Del Mar’, the LiveWire One's sibling in the next few years. To get more news about davinci, you can visit davincimotor.com official website.
It is going to be based on the company's new proprietary scalable modular ‘Arrow’ platform. This new platform has been pitted as a cheddar-friendly addition to the middleweight segment. And more models will be added in the future using the same platform.
Harley will add more bikes based on the same platform after the middleweight LiveWire S2 (System 2) models. There will be a more lightweight series of LiveWire S3 models and heavyweight LiveWire S4 models. Needless to say that the H-D LiveWire One will also continue to be the brand’s premium model (with its sky-high price). The new Arrow platform will bypass the current LiveWire One's battery-stored-in-frame function as it uses the battery as a stressed member; something similar to what is seen in a KTM SuperDuke R, BMW Motorrad’s R1100RS, or Ducati's lineup. The platform will feature a motor, battery, inverter and on-board charger that can be used in different configurations.
The S2 will appeal to the middle category of the audience and will thus not feature the LiveWire One's ballistic motor performance. The new battery-powered models from the legacy motorcycle maker will also knock on the Indian doors post their international appearance. Expect more details to be rolled out in the near future.
New World Trading Guide
The economy is always a huge thing in a game like New World. Luckily, the Economy System in New World is pretty decent. Not only the player can set up an order at a Trading Post, but 1-on-1 trades are also an option. In this guide, we will provide a walkthrough of how to trade with other players in New World. To get more news about buy nw gold, you can visit spieltimes.com official website.
The simplest method of trading in New World is to use a Trading Post. This is where the player can create a Sell Order or Buy Order. Placing these is seamless. The player simply sets up the quantity, required item, and pays the price upfront – remember that this price is completely refunded if the Buy Order is not fulfilled. On the other hand, the amount earned from a Sell Order goes directly into the account.
Another method is to initiate a 1-on-1 trade. To begin, approach another player and press the H key. In the new menu that appears, select the Trade option, and wait for the other player to accept the request. Once the request is accepted, both players will be able to list the items that they wish to buy or sell – it can be anything from weapons to gems, gold, etc.
Clicking and dragging an item to the Trade Window should be simple enough. Also, do note that it is possible to unstack the things that are in bulk. Once both players have added their items to the Trade Window, check them once more before confirming it.
While simple enough, the Trading System in New World works flawlessly and is a great way of helping out people who are new to the game or to just share rare resources with the member of the Company.
Lastly, do note that it is also possible to salvage items to get things like gold, repair items, etc. To learn how to do that, check our linked guide.
This is all we have got in How to Trade in New World. For more help on the game, feel free to check out our detailed New World wiki page.
World of Warcraft: Klassenanpassungen beim Todesritter mit Patch 9.2
hey folks! similar to the rogue thread, it felt like death knights would appreciate the gift of a follow-up post to last week’s update with a look at some of the changes that will be coming in January, as a winter veil present to make up for not seeing iteration & bug fixes on the PTR this week.To get more news about buy wow gold safe, you can visit lootwow.com official website.
for both of the bonuses we’re showing today, try to center feedback around your impressions of them on a feel-level; both the Unholy set and Frost’s 2-piece have generated a lot of discussion on that angle over their actual power level, so these iterations seek to address those concerns while capturing the original goals of the sets.
Unholy:
2-piece Bonus: Every 5 Scourge Strikes / Clawing Shadows casts Soul Reaper on your target and summons a Ghoul for 12 seconds.
4-piece Bonus: Soul Reaper causes your pet to deal 20% increased damage. If Soul Reaper’s secondary effect triggered, all of your pets gain 20% increased damage instead.
while we think there’s still value and excitement in a bonus that interacts with Soul Reaper & pushes Unholy’s more single-target/execute niche (as compared to Frost), it was clear that having an entire bonus inactive unless in execute was a bridge too far and could lead to some major tuning issues. this set seeks to retain that goal while also emphasizing the ‘undead commander’ fantasy of Unholy that the original promised.
before anyone asks, yes all pets means apoc ghoul, garg, aotd, you name it. go crazy.for Frost, this bonus is a little more experimental, so really curious to see what people think of it - again, numbers may be too high/low, don’t make me tap the sign
Frost:
2-piece Bonus: Gaining a Rune has a 15% chance to grant Killing Machine. Consuming Killing Machine increases your Strength by 2% for 6 seconds.
the above bonus seeks to accomplish the previous one’s goal of ‘generate more KM procs for the 4-piece’ but in a way that feels a little more in your hands. Gaining a Rune here means both as part of talents and passives like Murderous Efficiency and Runic Empowerment, but also whenever a Rune refreshes naturally. The strength kicker also stacks, so hitting multiple KM’s within a moderate duration via fishing for 2p procs or talents like Obliteration gain a lot of value here as well.
It’s worth noting for the vocal group of players who only want to play Breath of Sindragosa, that those builds generate a lot of extra Runes as well which should hopefully still make it a viable option.
as for blood players - there’s nothing to share at the moment, other than there’s still a desire to find a middle ground for solo-tanking and multi-target tanking that feels good for the bonus, though more data and feedback on a non-bugged version is necessary before figuring out where to take it.
Blizzard turns World of Warcraft NPCs into colored people
Activision Blizzard has recently been caught in a storm of public opinion. Now Blizzard’s games are carefully avoiding sensitive content and striving to cater to the public. However, an unofficial community committee Discord server in World of Warcraft has exploded recently. Many people are complaining that Blizzard has turned World of Warcraft NPCs into people of color. Some people said that there are too many blacks in Stormwind. To get more news about wow gold pay pal, you can visit lootwowgold official website.
In November, Blizzard created a community committee that has the right to communicate with designers and can directly feedback the opinions of players. Since then, the community has split up an unofficial Discord server called Seat of the Council, which also often conducts game improvement discussions. However, a recent discussion around “there are too many black people in Stormwind” has caused controversy. There are different opinions on whether WoW should join the BIPOC (black, aboriginal, and colored people) NPC.
Many people have noticed that Blizzard is making diversified improvements. Starting in 2020, the skin color of white characters has changed, and more people of color have been added in September of this year. This deliberate and obvious whitewashing change has triggered heated discussions among players.
Some users think that there are too many blacks in the game now, and people with different opinions start to attack, which eventually leads to the banning of the Discord channel and all records being cleared. Later, they recreated the community on another server, but the debate continued.
Most of the controversy was provoked by a user named Asjon, who was considered a phisher. His views include Blizzard deliberately blackening, or blackening the faces of some white NPCs, while the diversity and tolerance of NPCs is just a lazy act of catering. Blizzard did not explain the origin of these special NPCs in a traditional fantasy work. And why do those transgender groups exist?
Although Asjon is suspected of deliberately manipulating racial issues, his views are not entirely unreasonable, after all, Blizzard is only correct and correct. They did not write related stories and did not give explanations. However, many people said that the skin color does not need to be explained, and the blacks are tired of defending, so there is no need to provide any background or reasoning to explain why the blacks came to Stormwind. If you really want to give a reason, it’s very simple, just like population migration in reality.
World Of Warcraft Turmoil Around Sudden Appearance Of People
An unofficial World of Warcraft Discord server has been lit ablaze in recent days. Right now, Twitter is full of screenshots showing people decrying Blizzard adding people of color to the MMORPG, with one particular comment complaining about how there are “too many Black humans in Stormwind.” This caused an expected community backlash, but the discussion around the addition of BIPOC NPCs to the high-fantasy game requires more explanation. To get more news about buy wow gold safe, you can visit lootwowgold official website.
In November, Blizzard went out of its way to create a community council with the goal of soliciting player feedback for detailed ways to improve World of Warcraft. The community then splintered off on its own, creating an unofficial Discord server called Seat of the Council. This new community was partially populated with members of the official one, and also home to the two protagonists of this story.
So, WoW players recently began noticing that NPC humans in the city of Stormwind appeared to suddenly become BIPOC. Characters who were white when the update originally dropped back in 2020 had their skin change, now appearing to be Asian or Black sometime around September of this year. This apparent BIPOC-washing pissed people off. The Seat of the Council Discord server blew up in outrage at the time. While that was a couple of months ago, for whatever reason one member has kept the fight going into December. According to a member present at the time the comment was made this week, a user called chamomile said on Discord that there were “too many” Black people in the game. Now that comment is all over social media.
I get the anger from the community. Saying there are “too many” of any one identity or ethnicity is an exclusionary and separatist ideology–unless you’re of the majority, which makes you par for the course. Since the spread of the hateful comment, the Discord server has since been closed, scrubbed clean, and reopened with a new name (Vacant Seat of the Council), but the arguing continues.
Much of that ongoing discussion appears to be spearheaded by another user named Asjon, who has been arguing on Discord that it’s “lazy” and “pandering” for Blizzard to just Blackface/Blackwash a bunch of white NPCs and call it diversity and inclusion. Asjon’s expectation is for Blizzard to create “cool lore” around how and why BIPOC NPCs get added to the game. The Discord community appears to vehemently disagree with this thinking, which makes sense.
My mind is torn in a few different directions, though. First, it’s egregious to say there are “too many Black humans,” whether trolling or not. That specific person got banned from the old and newly reopened server—as they should! It’s racist. I also happen to agree with Asjon, kind of. To Blackface/Blackwash white NPCs as if that’s a diversity solution is mere appropriation. But I don’t subscribe to Asjon’s desire for there to be some explanation or “cool lore” that justifies BIPOC inclusion.
As a Black person, I shouldn’t have to explain myself. I shouldn’t have to provide context and reasoning for why I am where I am. I just am and that’s enough! Black people get tired of constantly justifying themselves as it’s what we’ve always done. Explaining why racism is bad, explaining how BIPOC writers are important, explaining why cultural appropriation is harmful. It’s unnecessary for there to be an explanation for how more BIPOC NPCs showed up in Stormwind, and if you need a rationale, you can chalk it up to migration. We live in the real world, after all!
You probably see people of color all the time, and their existence just makes sense because people of color are real. Besides, World of Warcraft is a high-fantasy game with elves and orcs. Do we need to explain why green-skinned people walk around any of the game’s cities? If not, then we certainly don’t need to justify why BIPOC NPCs are more noticeable.
