Canon printers are used in most printing works, and printing a booklet is one of them. Canon all-in-one printers come with a feature called booklet printing function. You can use Reader and Acrobat X or Acrobat and Reader 9 to print a booklet using a Canon printer. Though booklet printing is easy, it may cause some issues as well.

First, we’ll show you how you can print a booklet with a Canon printer;


How to print a booklet?

Print one side of the sheet to create a booklet, then fold it half. When you staple the sheet, it’ll be a booklet.

  • Open the file that you want to print as a booklet.

  • Select print to open the printer driver setup window.

  • In the Page Setup Tab, look for the Page Layout list.

  • Then, click on Booklet.

  • On the left side of the window, you’ll quickly see the current settings for your booklet.   

  • In the Printer Paper Size list, choose the paper size to print.

  • Now, move to Specify option and set the margin, blank page and Page Border in the dialog box.

  • Click OK and execute booklet printing.

Fix Issues while creating the booklet 

Creating a booklet or printing it can sometimes experience issues that you can troubleshoot using a few settings. For example, when you print a booklet using a Canon printer, make sure the paper is set correctly after the one-side printing.

Enable Duplex Unit –

If you are using a duplex unit or it’s an option, then you’ve to enable this option in the printer driver;

  • Go to Settings on your device or Windows.

  • Open Devices and click Printers & scanners.

  • Choose your device to configure.

  • Click Manage > Manage your device > Printer properties.

  • Print settings screen appears and opens Device Settings. 

  • Close to Device Information, select the “Retrieve Device Status Information” option to enable the duplex unit.


Set up Basic Booklet Printing -

If your device hasn’t the duplex option, then skip the above procedure and directly apply the below steps;

  1. Open the application and click on the print menu.

  2. Then, click on your current device.

  3. According to your application, a prompt may appear, for example, Properties.

  4. In the print settings screen, open Finishing or Basic Settings.

  5. In the Print Style, select Booklet Printing.

  6. Click on the Booklet option, and detailed Settings for Booklet dialog box appears.

  7. Here, click Book Opening and choose the binding option.

  8. Click on Specify Booklet Gutter, then select the gutter width > OK.


Contact the Canon printer tech support team if the basic settings don’t help you print the booklet correctly.

Your Microsoft 365 subscription may show errors sometimes when you try to sign in, install to Office. Across the Office app's top, you may receive a yellow warning message –

"ACCOUNT NOTICE. We've run into a problem with your Microsoft 365 subscription and need your help to fix it."

This notification is shown due to an account issue. When your Microsoft 365 subscription payment isn't completed, and it may trigger a problem. For example, if you expired or canceled a credit card or any other reasons where the payment is declined, then your Microsoft 365 would be suspended.

Check below instructions and follow steps to resolve this error;

1 – Check and Ensure Your Microsoft 365 is Active

  • Close Office apps on your system.

  • Go to office.com and click Sign-in.

  • Enter account credentials and log in.

  • Open "Services & Subscriptions" and click on Microsoft 365.

  • Review the details and renew the subscription.

  • If you still see the "ACCOUNT NOTICE" on Office Apps, work with the next section.


2 – Keep your payment information up-to-date

  • Use your browser to visit account.microsoft.com.

  • Click Account and enter sign-in details.

  • Open Payments on your account.  

  • Update the payment method if you face trouble.

  • Updating the information will remove the error, hence restart the MS Word.

If updating payment information doesn't help you resolve the error, you can follow the following step or methods.


3 – Install the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant

The Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant tool can help you identify the activation issue and fix issues as well. 


  1. Go to Microsoft official to download Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant.

  2. Once you download this tool.

  3. Choose a browser from the show list.

  4. A prompt occurs to Install the tool.

  5. Accept software terms by clicking on I Agree.

  6. Click Yes and follow instructions to troubleshoot the activation issue. 


4 – Deactivate and reinstall Office 

  1. If the above tool didn't fix the issue, then reinstallation is the best way.

  2. First of all, sign out from Office to deactivate it.

  3. Uninstall Office using Easy fix tool.  

  4. Go to office.com/setup or Microsoft365.com to re-download Office.

  5. Double click on the downloaded installer to Reinstall Office.

Microsoft had launched an app called the PC Health Check app, which couldn't satisfy the users for the app displayed incorrect results for the PCs, claiming them to be incapable of installing and running Windows 11. Furthermore, the app didn't let the people know the exact reasons for this claim and was thus taken to be failing in the task it has been brought for. This made the company pull the app and work on it. It took three months for this revamp in the app, and it is now prepared to get back but in a preview form.

The app is not available commonly; therefore, Microsoft did not release any details or a blog post regarding the revamped app. In addition to this, this latest version (3.0.210914001) of the app has no changelog to show what's new.

According to some of the media reports, it has not been clarified whether you need to be a Windows Insider to download the app at the moment. However, a page titled "Windows Insider Preview PC Health Check Application," includes links to download the app. According to this page, one needs to be an Insider to download the PC Health Check app.

Windows 11 page contains a footnote that has a direct link to download the app. But, the footnote specifically mentions that the app download is for PCs running Windows 10 in S mode.

This app will let you know the reason why your PC is not compatible with running Windows 11. Further, you will be shown checkmarks next to the met PC requirements and will clearly tell you the requirements yet not fulfilled to be compatible enough. If the PC is not supporting TPM 2.0, you will even be provided the link to get and enable it on your PC.

Windows 11 is set to be launched on October 5, 2021, so the app may be released for the general public before the Operating System.

You can also rely on Windows Defender to protect your PC from getting impacted by the malware that may enter your device through suspicious links and websites, you may have accidentally clicked while browsing on the Internet. You may certainly find some help from some good antivirus programs like Bitdefender and Malwarebytes, but you cannot ascertain to count on all so-called pricey antivirus packages that cost you all but provide the minuscule of services, and rather become a reason to slow down your system a bit more. If you are hesitant to delete these antivirus programs from your PC then at least you should leave them untouched.
