I Would Suggest Just Going Balls Deep from Kingang's blog

While initially the Drifter strikes seemed unmanageable as the scope and scale of these attacks had yet to become fully comprehended, after some EVE Echoes ISK time what appeared as a exciting new wrinkle in the Invasion expansion storyline soon became bothersome. Attacks appeared to halt about a week to the invasion, but had been quickly picked back up within a day or so. Player structures have been destroyed by the invasion, such as a Citadel according to Jin'Taan, a former associate of the Council of Stellar Management, through Twitter.

Leaders of the excellent player-run corporations are meeting to determine how to respond to the Drifter attacks, specifically how to push back at CCP Games for launching these NPC invasions. A lot of people in Nullsec feel as though the multiplayer gameplay has been jeopardized by the Drifter invasions. Many alliance leaders are upset that the drifter invasion interrupted participant struggles, many of which were months in the building. Imperium's leader, '' The Mittani, summed up what many are feeling when speaking to PCGamer:

"The Imperium was in the midst of prosecuting a war between tens of thousands of real players. We're worried that we have had to prevent our player vs player war and grind through what numbers to World of Warcraft-style raid content, however we've already broken down how the Drifter AI functions and also have successfully defended all of our structures thus far. I look forward to moving back to actual player vs player content, which explains the reason why I quit WoW for EVE in the first location."

Because of this, the significant alliance leaders are planning revenge that can negatively influence all New Eden. Embargoes placed on Tier 2 goods - which can be harvestable in Nullsec then sent to hubs like Jita - can compromise and starve the PVE economy, something which is felt even more in a Buy EVE Echoes Items game like EVE Online versus a traditional MMO. While more than an embargo was proposed, one thing is for sure: EVE's great corporations will not take the disruption of Nullsec space lying down.
