Sanjay Dutt is an Indian actor, producer, and occasional playback singer who started his Bollywood acting career by appearing as a child artist in Reshma Aur Shera in 1971. He made his lead debut in Rocky in 1981 which was directed by his father Sunil Dutt. Since making his debut in 1981, he has acted in more than 150 films and continues to be one of the most popular stars of the silver screen. Despite being plagued by controversies, in his four-decade-long career, he has delivered some big hits like Vidhaata (1982), Naam (1986), Saajan (1991), Khalnayak (1993), Vaastav: The Reality (1999), Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003) and its sequel Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006), Dhamaal (2007), Agneepath (2012) and others. There’s even a biopic made on him called Sanju: One Man… Many Lives (2018) which was directed by Rajkumar Hirani. He was born to popular actor Sunil Dutt and actress Nargis Dutt, his sister is married to actor Kumar Gaurav while his first marriage was to actress Richa Sharma, then Rhea Pillai, and now Maanyata Dutt.
