Patton says that she completed 2.5 minutes of exercise conditioning each day, seven days a week, in order to prepare for her part in WOW WoTLK Classic Gold the film. In addition she also completed two hours of stunt-training in which she was taught to utilize knives and swords."I consider it vital for you to be able physically the things that your character is capable of doing. Physical preparation was quite daunting," Patton said.

"We have an amazing stunt team, however, Paula has been willing to put herself in their hands," he said. "So we've been able to accomplish many things in-camera with Paula which normally you'd employ stuntmen to accomplish."
