2. Designed to withstand exhausting conditions.
Years of R&D, unique patented solutions, innovative product design and an extensive testing program ensure the durability and lifetime of an Alfa Laval brazed heat exchanger will be hard to match.
3. Full compliance.
All Alfa Laval brazed units are pressure tested and labelled to comply with all major industry approvals (UL, CRN, and ASME).
4. Local production.
Beginning in 2019, a majority of US brazed units will be assembled in our new Richmond, Virginia production facility. Alfa Laval brazed plate heat exchangers feature efficient heat transfer with an extremely small footprint, making them ideal for demanding installations where space is at a premium.
• The thin, corrugated stainless steel plates used in the design are brazed together with copper. This forms a self-contained unit that can handle both high pressures and high temperatures. And unlike traditional designs, the brazed plate heat exchanger consists solely of surfaces that actively contribute to heat transfer, resulting in significant increases in overall efficiency
