MMOexp: Bandai Namco didn't elaborate on the mechanism from AventurineLe's blog

Elden Ring players have discovered many ways to smack one another in PVP However, one flaw that was discovered on Elden Ring Runes PC was particularly sloppy. It let players trap players in an endless death loop , which could destroy their save files. This is not a good thing! Thankfully, the developer FromSoftware has finally fixed the issue with a minor update to the game, which was released earlier in the day.

"Fixed an issue in multiplayer that permitted players to teleport other players to wrong coordinates on maps," reads one of the notes included in the mini-1.03.2 patch. Bandai Namco didn't elaborate on the mechanism behind the bug and if players who misused the bug would be punished, or what happens to players who it was already being used on. The company didn't respond immediately to a request for comments.

An PSA taken from the Elden Ring news account warning users about the exploit went up on Twitter the week of March 18. "There's an exploit being circulated on PC that allows hackers to corrupt your save files while you're infiltrated," it read. "First they'll crash your game. Then, when you restart it your character will continually falling to Elden Ring Runes buy death. ..."
