On my most recent trip, I made sure to check Turkish Airlines Baggage Allowancebefore heading to the airport, and it really helped me prevent any last-minute surprises. Because I was flying economy, I was allowed to check in one luggage weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs). This was more than plenty for my week-long trip.

I carried one piece of cabin luggage, no heavier than eight kilograms (17 pounds), and my laptop bag as a personal item. I liked that their baggage policies were so clear because it made packing much simpler.

If you're flying business class, you're in luck because you can check two bags, each up to 32 kg (70 lbs), which would be excellent for lengthy travels. My Turkish Airlines trip went well and without incident because I was aware of the requirements ahead of time.
