Once you have completed most of Path of exile currency​ your maps and finished expensive unique maps, use this strategy:

Progression

Basic Skill Tree (54 pts): Initial setup for efficient map progression.

Shrine & Harbinger (76 pts): Buffs from shrines and additional drops from Harbinger.

Expedition (117 pts): Focuses on currency farming by selling logbooks or doing Expeditions.

Blight (117 pts): Tower defense strategy suitable for builds that do not scale as well as meta builds.

Legion (115 pts): Increases drops from Legion encounters.

Ultimatum (120 pts): Maximizes rewards from Ultimatum encounters.

Searing Exarch: Chosen for better staple currencies over Eater of Worlds, which is more focused on Path of exile currency for sale divination cards.
