Configure Your Linksys RE6700 Using The CD Setup from Myra Norman's blog

For a CD setup of your Linksys RE6700 extender, you can use any PC or laptop that has a ROM drive. The Linksys re1000 has an easy setup method that you can execute within a few minutes. So, take your PC and insert the setup CD into the CD ROM drive. As a result, an AutoPlay window will appear on the screen that will redirect you to the further Linksys RE6700 setup process. Now, click on the Set up your Linksys range extender option and again click on the License Agreement option. Wait till the software is ready to set up a wireless connection with your router and the extender. Afterward, plug the extender into a power socket and click on the next button on the screen. The software will automatically detect the network and connect with it.
