Chicago brings back former Bear Christian Jones from wisepowder's blog

On Tuesday the Chicago Bears announced that they have signed linebacker Christian Jones, who played the last three years with the Detroit Lions, to a one-year deal. Jones was originally an undrafted free agent of the Bears in 2014 out of Florida State, and he spent the first four years of his career in the Windy City.To get more news about Youth Game bears jerseys, you can visit bearsbuy official website.

His first year in Chicago was spent mostly as an outside linebacker in Mel Tucker’s 4-3 defense, but when the Bears hired John Fox, who hired defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, Jones moved to inside linebacker and he started 26 games in three years for Fangio. Bears current defensive coordinator Sean Desai was on staff for all of Jones’ four years in Chicago.

Jones (6’3”, 250) played outside linebacker in Detroit the last three years starting 42 of the 45 games he played in while averaging 59 tackles per season.

The 30-year old Jones brings plenty of experience to the Bears’ defense but also to their special teams units as well.
