The gem will go through an "awakening" process and gain the additional slots it needs. That means that a player will have to place five other legendary gems into these slots , and upgrade each one to rank 10.

Because of "awakening," a user is not required to have six however 36 (!) 5-star gems in order to fully maximize their character buy Diablo 4 Gold.
