The PC version isn't quite up to par The game is, however Diablo IV Gold, not up to par. The game looks as it's a mobile game with an unwieldy screen and has a poor resolution, to its inconsistent textures. Animations for non-player characters are laughable, particularly in the way they are played. But the visual problems outweigh the gameplay issues. The pathfinding system isn't working properly and rewards aren't always loaded correctly. Worst of all, the attack button might just cease to function but nothing more than restarting the game can solve the issue. Imagine how much fun this can be when you're in the middle of a thrilling dungeon quest.

On the other hand the audio quality is comparable to standard Diablo quality, which some pleasantly atmospheric background music, as well as good voice acting.

I'm not in awe of Diablo Immortal. I'm sure there are some who would. It's a minor title in a storied series, and the F2P gameplay mechanics are as annoying as they look. But if (and this is an enormous "if") you can be able to get past this, there's a solid game under the surface with a great gameplay experience and a wide range of exciting games to try.

If you've not played the Diablo series before, this is not the right place to begin. I'd suggest Diablo III instead, which you can test for free on your PC. For Diablo gamers, Immortal is at least worth a look, but beware that the game demands a lot your time, or, in the best case scenario, a lot of your money.
