Antai and ESADE Announce Double Degree Partnership from wisepowder's blog

Shanghai Jiao Tong University (through Antai College of Economics & Management) and ESADE Business School, have announced a new academic partnership. Its purpose is to promote academic excellence and cross-cultural understanding. This agreement further strengthens the alliance between ESADE and Shanghai Jiao Tong University through a new Double-Degree programme for MSc students in Europe and China. Antai College of Economics and Management is the business school of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. It is one of China's highest-ranked business school and is among the Top-5 in the Asia-Pacific region. Students who graduate from this programme will be awarded an MSc in International Business (MIB) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MSc in Management from ESADE Business School – Ramon Llull University.

ESADE’s strategy brings together young leaders from ESADE and other academic institutions, and targets the best universities worldwide to strengthen the School’s programmes for those makers and shakers of tomorrow’s global economy who seek to improve the state of the world.”
Party Secretary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Chairman of the University Council, Sixian Jiang, expresses his high hopes on the collaboration between Antai College and ESADE Business School, “This agreement will provide our students with more chances of global immersion that is critical to becoming future leaders in the multicultural context. I believe close partnership between the two advanced business schools will bring about better educational practices that are aligned with fast changes and new challenges of the global economy.”
The new programme forges links among the most outstanding students from both universities. These students are characterised by their exceptional potential, achievements, and eagerness to learn. The new programme capitalises on these traits to develop students’ knowledge, skills, relational capacities, culture, attitudes and values, introducing its participants to today’s fast-paced global business environment.
Under the agreement, both academic institutions will send students for enrolment abroad each year, thus giving scholars from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and ESADE Business School the chance to learn about the unique business environments of China and Europe and to pool their experience.
